Choose well, apply well, maintain well: everything you need for a successful Color&Soin colouring.

Choosing the right shade

Start from your base colour

Look at the hair at the nape of your neck — it hasn’t been lightened by the sun, so it’s the most faithful to your original colour. Color&Soin can darken or lighten by a maximum of 2 tones.

When in doubt, go lighter

Grey hair absorbs more pigment: the result can be darker than expected. When in doubt, go lighter.

Grey hair and the shade chart

Grey hair takes the exact shade shown on the chart. Check it in pharmacy for a faithful preview of the result.

±2 tones maximum

Color&Soin can darken or lighten by a maximum of 2 tones.

Take the colour diagnosis

Easy to apply, professional results

Sensitivity test 24–48h before

Strongly recommended before first use.

  1. 1Disinfect the test area. Let dry.
  2. 2Cotton bud 1: dip in colourant, apply to skin.
  3. 3Cotton bud 2: dip in fixative, apply to a different area. Leave uncovered.
  4. 4Wait 48h, rinse. If no redness, itching or swelling, proceed with application.

Kit contents

  • One 60 ml bottle of plant-extract dye
  • One 60 ml bottle of colour fixative with applicator tip
  • One pair of protective gloves
  • One instruction leaflet
  • One 15 ml sachet of conditioning balm
  1. 1

    Unwashed, dry hair

    Colour must be applied to unwashed, dry hair for the best possible uptake.

  2. 2

    Protect

    Place a towel on your shoulders to protect your clothes, then put on gloves.

  3. 3

    Mix

    Pour the plant-extract dye into the fixative bottle. Screw cap, shake until smooth. Unscrew tip, apply immediately.

  4. 4

    Apply

    Separate hair into 4 sections with a comb. Apply to roots with the applicator tip, then spread over lengths. Use all the product. Massage gently.

  5. 5

    Emulsion and rinse

    Massage scalp without water (gloves on). Gradually add lukewarm water while massaging. Rinse until water runs clear.

  6. 6

    Finish

    Apply conditioner to roots and lengths. Leave for 2 minutes, then rinse.

Processing time

  • Very few grey hairs: 20 min
  • From 50%: 35 min
  • High percentage, hard to cover: 40 min

Maintaining your colour

Dedicated products for coloured hair contain antioxidants and hydrating ingredients that protect and prolong colour.

On average, colour stays vibrant for 4 to 6 weeks. To prolong vibrancy, use products specifically designed for coloured hair.
